  • Carm!

What a beautiful blog! I didn’t know you had a blog, or I would have checked it out sooner. I’m loving it, anyway. I’ll check in often. As a fellow blog addict, I’m hoping to get around to doing a blog of my own, soon – you can’t do much with MY Space. But thanks for checking it out, and your lovely comment.

Where are you actually living? I haven’t read enough to work it out, as my the internet keeps dropping out on my computer.

Anyhow, I’ll be seeing you (sort of)… here, mamamia, and hopefully on my own blog when I get round to it.

    Cath xx

  • Hey Cath! Thanks for YOUR lovely comment ;) It’s all very new actually this blog ~ say the last week or so… I’m currently in Milan… I must put up a Bio section so it’s a bit easier for people to understand! Thanks for dropping by; & see u round @ mamamias (u know in Italian that means “My Mum” I think thats such a cute double play on words Mia has going on there) hehe… x

  • Hey Aaron! ;)
Sure… of course I remember you!
I have to admit I’ve noticed you’re quite the traveller yourself via facebook.. hehe… Seems you do LA/ UK every couple of weeks! :D
I am enjoying myself in Milan although I should perhaps stop with the glass half full stuff since I’m not working for Tourism I never intended to promote it as it’s coming across!! I should write about some of the real gritty negative stuff… cos it does exist here!
In any case I’m glad you like my blog! Thanks for your lovely comment… x

  • Hi Carmen,

How are you? Not sure if you remember me from the old scool days!!!!

Anyway, I just found via facebook.

Sounds like you are loving life and enjoying your time overseas.
I’ve just returned from a working holiday in the UK.
What are you doing in Milan?
Hope you are well, Your blog is a great read! ;-p

    Aaron

  • Hi Carmen!

I was very happy to see you on my blog and thanks for the lovely comments!
I have a very emotional ration towards the word “Pomegranate’ as my favourite grandmother had a pomegranate tree in her garden where I spent some holidays as I was a little girl. I loved these fruits, the taste and the look… and I love the name of your blog!

  • Miki :)
I was very happy to stumble across your blog myself such beautiful use of colour!
That’s a nice memory you have of your grandmother… how lovely..
Mmmmm Pomegranates are certainly enticing that’s why I named my blog after it ~ perfect inspiration for writing!
    xx

  • Pomegranates are my favorite fruit! I love the picture here, and especially at the top of your blog.

    Madame Monet

  • Madame Monet,

Mmmm Mmmmm…. Pomegranates are my favourite fruit too! Although I suppose that’s already fairly obvious ;) Do you eat them raw as a sweet fruit or use them in cooking?

    In any case welcome here!

    xx Carm

  • Hi Carm,

I’m not reading your review of ‘To Hellas and Back’, because I want to read it first. I haven’t noticed you around mamamia lately – Iguess you’re a busy girl! Anyway, I have my own blog now – it’s more of a comedy blog than a personal one, just somewhere for people to drop into and be entertained a little while they’re supposed to be working! The address is above, or here:

    http://comedychick.typepad.com/comedychick/

Drop in sometime. Still loving your blog!

    Cath x

  • Hey Cath :)

I’ve added “Comedy Chick” to my blogroll… well done!!!

Def read “To Hellas & Back” although I did try and not give too much away plot wise etc in the interview! For those readers who would not have read it…

Will be checking ur site out regularly! So pleased u’ve got one now… Ur comments are always hilarious at Mia’s.

    hugs Carm xx

  • I love your site. Keep it up !

  • Hi Carmen, great blog! I lived in the UK for a while, and ate many a pomegranate! Great fruit. It’s a pity it’s not as well known in Oz. Great with icecream!

  • Thanks knowledgetoday…

Fender4eva Thank You :-) )) Mmmmm agreed. Pomegranates in Oz have been disappointing so far. I’ve only come across ones from California which are bitter & not sweet like the ones from Italy!!! Love them though…
